Le Temple is a large, detached
Charentaise farm house built in 1868.Light, airy and spacious, Le
Temple sleeps up to 12 people in 5 large double bedrooms, with 2
bathrooms, 2 further toilets, a kitchen / breakfast room, a dining
room and a large sitting room with wood burning stove. Outside to
the rear of the property there is a large private garden and gazebo
with informal BBQ dining area; and to the side of the house a barn,
a second covered dining area, a second covered pergola, further
grounds including a magnificent chestnut tree with swing and a large
10m x 5m swimming pool with solar powered shower. From the pool and
side of the house there are stunning 180 degree panoramic views
across the valley.
Le Temple stands on the edge
of a pretty village, just a few minutes walk away from the
boulangerie and the village bar / restaurant, past the village green
and Roman church. Our idyllic area of the Poitou-Charentes has a
wealth of activities for both adults and children. Le Temple is
available for hire as a private house (not shared with the owners or
other guests) on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday inclusive.
A baby-sitting, evening
driving, and catering service is available by separate arrangement
(subject to availability)
